Contra-indications

• The compression is medium, which means that it can not always be worn in the acute phase of a hernia. Medically spoken, it is not permitted to wear an umbilical hernia support if the hernia is not sufficiently contained.The risk is that the hernia-opening becomes bigger. If it becomes smaller than before, then you can be assured that it functions already, which is better than wearing nothing at all

Instructions for use

• Position round pad onto the support by Velcro fixing and place onto the hernia port or rupture port
• Put support around the body and close the support
• Night wear: if on doctor’s order to wear the abdominal support during the night, avoid hindering blood circulation. In case of numbness loosen support and remove the support if necessary. If complaints continue, please contact the doctor

Care instructions
Hand-wash the support in lukewarm water using a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softeners. Close the Velcro closure to avoid damaging other items being washed. Shape by hand and allow dry in the open air. Avoid heat.
